Job Requirements

- Prior experience in maintenance or related field preferred
- Ability to perform physical labor including lifting up to 50 pounds
- Flexibility to complete multiple job tasks
- Strong attention to detail
- Good problem-solving skills
- Willingness to follow property emergency procedures
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in hotel maintenance or property upkeep preferred
- Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting up to 50 pounds, climbing stairs and ladders, and bending or twisting for extended periods
- Basic knowledge of electrical and plumbing maintenance
- Strong organizational and inventory management skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Good communication skills
Job Duties
- Managing work orders in a timely manner while adhering to a proper preventative maintenance schedule
- Shampooing carpets and cleaning hard surface floors
- Performing light electrical work such as changing an outlet or wall switch
- Conducting light plumbing tasks including plunging and unclogging toilets and sinks
- Performing public space janitorial work and parking lot upkeep
- Maintaining and managing inventory of maintenance supplies and tools and providing orders to management
- Prepping rooms for housekeepers including removing linens, trash, moving furniture and reviewing maintenance needs
- Knowing and following property emergency procedures and ensuring the security needs of the property and guests are met
- Performing other duties as assigned
