Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior experience in hotel maintenance or property upkeep
- Ability to perform physical tasks including climbing stairs, kneeling, squatting, bending, twisting, and lifting up to 50 pounds
- Flexibility to handle multiple job duties in a fast-paced environment
- Willingness to adhere to hotel policies and safety procedures
- Ability to follow directions and work independently as needed
- Commitment to providing excellent customer service and maintaining property standards
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior experience in hotel maintenance or similar property attendant role preferred
- Basic knowledge of electrical and plumbing repairs
- Ability to operate cleaning equipment and handle janitorial tasks
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple responsibilities efficiently
- Familiarity with safety and emergency procedures in a hospitality environment
Job Duties
- Managing work orders in a timely manner while adhering to a proper preventative maintenance schedule
- Shampooing carpets or cleaning hard surface floors
- Performing light electrical work such as changing an outlet or wall switch
- Performing light plumbing duties including plunging toilets, snaking toilets, and unclogging sinks
- Performing janitorial work in public spaces including parking lot upkeep and trash cleanup
- Maintaining and managing inventory of maintenance supplies and tools and providing orders to management
- Prepping rooms for housekeepers including removing linens, trash, moving furniture, and reviewing maintenance needs
- Knowing and following property emergency procedures and ensuring the security needs of the property and guests are met
- Performing other duties as assigned
