Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to perform basic maintenance tasks
- Experience with cleaning and janitorial duties
- Physical ability to perform repetitive climbing, kneeling, squatting, standing, bending, twisting, and lifting up to 50 pounds
- Flexibility to work various shifts and handle multiple responsibilities
- Commitment to follow safety and emergency procedures
- Reliable and punctual work ethic
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in property maintenance or a related field preferred
- Basic knowledge of electrical and plumbing systems
- Ability to perform physical labor including lifting up to 50 pounds
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Good communication and teamwork abilities
- Understanding of hotel operations and guest service
Job Duties
- Managing work orders in a timely manner while adhering to a proper preventative maintenance schedule
- Shampooing carpets and cleaning hard surface floors
- Performing light electrical work such as changing outlets or wall switches
- Conducting light plumbing tasks including plunging and snaking toilets and unclogging sinks
- Performing preventative maintenance programs and public space janitorial work
- Maintaining parking lot upkeep and trash cleanup
- Cleaning PTAC units and performing drywall repair, painting, and caulking
- Maintaining and managing inventory of maintenance supplies and tools and providing orders to management
- Prepping rooms for housekeepers including removing linens, trash, moving furniture, and reviewing maintenance needs
- Knowing and following property emergency procedures and ensuring the security needs of the property and guests are met
- Performing other duties as assigned
