Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior experience in property maintenance or related field preferred
- Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 pounds
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks including climbing stairs and ladders, kneeling, squatting, sitting, standing, bending and twisting for extended periods
- Flexibility to handle multiple duties in a fast-paced environment
- Familiarity with basic preventive maintenance and emergency procedures
- Availability to work full time
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience in general maintenance and housekeeping duties preferred
- Basic knowledge of electrical and plumbing systems
- Ability to manage inventory and supplies
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Good communication and teamwork abilities
- Physical capability to perform maintenance tasks and lift up to 50 pounds
Job Duties
- Managing work orders in a timely manner while adhering to a proper preventative maintenance schedule
- Shampooing carpets and cleaning hard surface floors
- Performing light electrical work such as changing outlets or wall switches
- Performing light plumbing such as plunging toilets, snaking toilets, unclogging sinks
- Conducting drywall repair, painting, caulking, and general public space janitorial work
- Maintaining and managing inventory of maintenance supplies and tools and providing orders to management
- Prepping rooms for housekeepers including removing linens, trash, moving furniture, reviewing maintenance needs
- Knowing and following property emergency procedures and ensuring the security needs of the property and guests are met
- Performing other duties as assigned
