Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior experience in property maintenance or hotel operations preferred
- Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting up to 50 lbs, climbing stairs and ladders
- Ability to kneel, squat, sit, stand, bend, and twist for long periods of time
- Flexible schedule and team player attitude
- Commitment to adhering to safety and emergency procedures
- Reliable and punctual
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior experience in property maintenance or hotel operations preferred
- Basic knowledge of electrical and plumbing repairs
- Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting up to 50 lbs, climbing stairs and ladders
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask
- Good communication and teamwork skills
Job Duties
- Managing work orders in a timely manner while adhering to a proper preventative maintenance schedule
- Shampooing carpets or cleaning hard surface floors
- Performing light electrical work such as changing an outlet or wall switch
- Performing light plumbing such as plunging toilets, snaking toilets, unclogging sinks
- Performing preventative maintenance programs
- Conducting public space janitorial work
- Maintaining parking lot upkeep and trash cleanup
- Cleaning PTAC units
- Repairing drywall
- Painting and caulking
- Maintaining and managing inventory of maintenance supplies and tools
- Providing orders to management
- Prepping rooms for housekeepers including removing linens, trash, moving furniture, reviewing maintenance needs
- Knowing and following property emergency procedures
- Ensuring the security needs of the property and guests are met
- Performing other duties as assigned
