Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in a maintenance or property attendant role preferred
- Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting up to 50 pounds, climbing stairs and ladders, and performing tasks requiring kneeling, squatting, standing, bending, and twisting
- Reliable and punctual
- Must comply with company policies including drug-free workplace regulations
- Flexible availability to handle various duties including emergency procedures
- Willingness to learn and take on diverse hotel responsibilities
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior experience in hotel maintenance or property management preferred
- Basic knowledge of electrical and plumbing systems
- Ability to operate cleaning machinery and maintenance tools
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
Job Duties
- Managing work orders in a timely manner while adhering to a proper preventative maintenance schedule
- Shampooing carpets or cleaning hard surface floors
- Performing light electrical work such as changing an outlet or wall switch
- Conducting light plumbing duties including plunging toilets, snaking toilets, and unclogging sinks
- Performing public space janitorial work and parking lot upkeep
- Maintaining and managing inventory of maintenance supplies and tools and providing orders to management
- Prepping rooms for housekeepers including removing linens, trash, moving furniture, and reviewing maintenance needs
- Knowing and following property emergency procedures and ensuring the security needs of the property and guests are met
- Performing other duties as assigned
