Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • prior experience in maintenance or hotel operations preferred
  • ability to perform physical tasks such as climbing stairs, kneeling, squatting, standing, bending and twisting for extended periods
  • ability to lift, push, or pull up to 50 lbs
  • valid work authorization
  • reliable transportation
  • willingness to adhere to hotel policies and safety standards
  • flexible availability to work varied shifts
  • commitment to teamwork and high-quality service

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • prior experience in hotel maintenance or custodial roles preferred
  • basic understanding of electrical and plumbing repairs
  • ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently
  • strong communication and teamwork skills
  • knowledge of safety and emergency procedures
  • physical ability to perform manual labor including lifting up to 50 lbs
  • willing to work flexible hours
  • commitment to quality and attention to detail

Job Duties

  • Managing work orders in a timely manner while adhering to a proper preventative maintenance schedule
  • shampooing carpets and cleaning hard surface floors
  • performing light electrical work such as changing outlets or wall switches
  • conducting light plumbing tasks including plunging and snaking toilets and unclogging sinks
  • maintaining preventative maintenance programs
  • cleaning public spaces and parking lots
  • performing trash cleanup
  • cleaning PTAC units
  • drywall repair
  • painting and caulking
  • maintaining and managing inventory of maintenance supplies and tools
  • providing orders to management
  • prepping rooms for housekeeping including removing linens, trash, moving furniture, and reviewing maintenance needs
  • knowing and following property emergency procedures
  • ensuring the security needs of the property and guests are met
  • performing other duties as assigned
