Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- previous experience in maintenance or related roles preferred
- ability to handle physical labor including lifting up to 50 pounds
- ability to perform repetitive tasks such as climbing stairs and using ladders
- availability to follow emergency procedures and safety protocols
- willingness to work flexible hours
- reliable and punctual work ethic
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- experience in maintenance or hospitality preferred
- ability to perform physical tasks required by the role
- strong attention to detail
- effective communication skills
- ability to work independently and as part of a team
- basic knowledge of electrical and plumbing repairs considered a plus
Job Duties
- Managing work orders in a timely manner while adhering to a proper preventative maintenance schedule
- shampooing carpets and cleaning hard surface floors
- performing light electrical work such as changing outlets or wall switches
- executing light plumbing tasks including plunging toilets and unclogging sinks
- conducting public space janitorial work and parking lot upkeep
- maintaining and managing inventory of maintenance supplies and tools
- prepping rooms for housekeeping by removing linens, trash, and moving furniture
- reviewing maintenance needs in guest rooms
- knowing and following property emergency procedures
- ensuring the security needs of the property and guests are met
- performing other duties as assigned
