Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- relevant experience in hotel maintenance or related field preferred
- ability to perform physical tasks including lifting up to 50 pounds
- willingness to work flexible hours
- ability to climb stairs and ladders repeatedly
- capacity to kneel, squat, sit, stand, bend, and twist for extended periods
- commitment to adhere to all property safety and emergency protocols
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- prior experience in maintenance or housekeeping roles preferred
- basic knowledge of electrical and plumbing repairs
- good physical stamina and ability to perform manual tasks
- ability to follow safety protocols and emergency procedures
- strong attention to detail
- excellent team player with good communication skills
Job Duties
- Managing work orders in a timely manner while adhering to a proper preventative maintenance schedule
- shampooing carpets or cleaning hard surface floors
- performing light electrical repairs such as changing an outlet or wall switch
- conducting light plumbing tasks including plunging and snaking toilets and unclogging sinks
- maintaining public spaces with janitorial work
- parking lot upkeep and trash cleanup
- performing PTAC cleaning, drywall repair, painting, and caulking
- maintaining and managing inventory of maintenance supplies and tools
- providing orders to management for necessary supplies
- prepping rooms for housekeepers by removing linens and trash, moving furniture, and reviewing maintenance needs
- knowing and following property emergency procedures
- ensuring the security needs of the property and guests are met
- performing other assigned duties as needed
