Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior experience in hotel maintenance or property attendance preferred
- Ability to perform physical tasks such as climbing stairs, kneeling, squatting, sitting, standing, bending, and lifting up to 50 pounds
- Flexibility to handle multiple responsibilities
- Commitment to following safety and emergency procedures
- Ability to work flexible hours
- Drug-free workplace compliance
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior experience in hotel maintenance or general property upkeep preferred
- Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting up to 50 pounds
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Good communication skills
- Knowledge of basic electrical and plumbing repair techniques considered a plus
Job Duties
- Managing work orders in a timely manner while adhering to a proper preventative maintenance schedule
- Shampooing carpets or cleaning hard surface floors
- Performing light electrical work such as changing an outlet or wall switch
- Executing light plumbing tasks including plunging toilets, snaking toilets, and unclogging sinks
- Conducting public space janitorial work and parking lot upkeep
- Maintaining and managing inventory of maintenance supplies and tools and providing orders to management
- Prepping rooms for housekeepers including removing linens, trash, moving furniture, and reviewing maintenance needs
- Knowing and following property emergency procedures and ensuring the security needs of the property and guests are met
- Performing other duties as assigned
