Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- prior experience in hotel maintenance or a related field
- ability to perform general maintenance tasks such as electrical, plumbing, and painting
- physical ability to lift, push, or pull up to 50 pounds
- ability to climb stairs and ladders repetitively
- capacity to kneel, squat, sit, stand, bend, and twist for extended periods
- willingness to follow safety and emergency procedures
- availability to work flexible hours as needed
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- prior experience in hotel maintenance or a related field preferred
- ability to perform general maintenance tasks including electrical, plumbing, and painting
- strong organizational and multitasking skills
- ability to work independently and as part of a team
- good communication skills
- knowledge of safety protocols and emergency procedures
- physical ability to perform required tasks including lifting up to 50 pounds
Job Duties
- Managing work orders in a timely manner while adhering to a proper preventative maintenance schedule
- shampooing carpets and cleaning hard surface floors
- performing light electrical work such as changing an outlet or wall switch
- performing light plumbing tasks including plunging toilets, snaking toilets, and unclogging sinks
- executing preventative maintenance programs
- performing janitorial duties in public spaces
- maintaining parking lot upkeep and trash cleanup
- cleaning PTAC units
- repairing drywall and painting
- caulking
- maintaining and managing inventory of maintenance supplies and tools
- providing orders to management
- prepping rooms for housekeepers including removing linens, trash, moving furniture, and reviewing maintenance needs
- knowing and following property emergency procedures
- ensuring security needs of property and guests are met
- performing other duties as assigned
