Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- previous experience in maintenance or hospitality preferred
- ability to perform manual labor and operate maintenance tools
- physical capability to climb stairs and ladders
- ability to lift, push, or pull items up to 50 pounds
- flexibility to work various shifts as needed
- willingness to adhere to property rules and safety protocols
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- experience in hotel maintenance or a related field preferred
- basic knowledge of electrical and plumbing work
- ability to operate janitorial and maintenance equipment
- good communication and teamwork skills
- ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks effectively
- physical ability to perform lifting, climbing, bending, and standing for extended periods
Job Duties
- Managing work orders in a timely manner while adhering to a proper preventative maintenance schedule
- sham-pooing carpets and cleaning hard surface floors
- performing light electrical work such as changing outlets or switches
- conducting light plumbing tasks including plunging and snaking toilets
- implementing preventative maintenance programs
- janitorial work in public spaces
- parking lot upkeep and trash cleanup
- cleaning PTAC units
- drywall repair, painting, and caulking
- maintaining and managing inventory of maintenance supplies and tools and providing orders to management
- prepping rooms for housekeeping including removing linens and trash, moving furniture, and reviewing maintenance needs
- knowing and following property emergency procedures and ensuring security needs of the property and guests are met
- performing other duties as assigned
