Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • prior experience in maintenance or hospitality preferred
  • ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 lbs
  • ability to perform repetitive physical tasks such as climbing stairs and ladders, kneeling, squatting, sitting, standing, bending, and twisting for extended periods
  • basic electrical and plumbing repair skills
  • willingness to follow property emergency procedures
  • reliable and flexible schedule

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • experience in general maintenance or hospitality environment preferred
  • ability to perform light electrical and plumbing repairs
  • basic knowledge of janitorial and housekeeping support tasks
  • strong attention to detail
  • ability to work independently and in a team environment
  • good communication skills

Job Duties

  • Managing work orders in a timely manner while adhering to a proper preventative maintenance schedule
  • shampooing carpets or cleaning hard surface floors
  • light electrical work such as changing an outlet or wall switch
  • light plumbing such as plunging toilets, snaking toilets, and unclogging sinks
  • performing preventative maintenance programs
  • performing public space janitorial work
  • parking lot upkeep
  • trash cleanup
  • PTAC cleaning
  • drywall repair
  • painting
  • caulking
  • maintaining and managing inventory of maintenance supplies and tools and providing orders to management
  • prepping rooms for housekeepers including removing linens, trash, moving furniture, reviewing maintenance needs
  • knowing and following property emergency procedures and ensuring the security needs of the property and guests are met
  • performing other duties as assigned
