Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous maintenance or hotel property attendant experience preferred
  • Ability to perform light electrical and plumbing repairs
  • Ability to follow preventative maintenance schedules
  • Physical ability to lift, push, or pull up to 50 pounds
  • Ability to climb stairs and ladders
  • Ability to perform tasks involving bending, squatting, kneeling, sitting, and standing for long periods
  • Must be able to follow safety and emergency procedures
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience in maintenance or property attendant role preferred
  • Basic knowledge of electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Good communication and organizational skills
  • Physical ability to perform repetitive tasks involving climbing, kneeling, squatting, sitting, standing, bending, and lifting up to 50 pounds
  • Commitment to safety and property security
  • Flexibility to handle multiple responsibilities

Job Duties

  • Managing work orders in a timely manner while adhering to a proper preventative maintenance schedule including shampooing carpets or cleaning hard surface floors, performing light electrical work such as changing an outlet or wall switch, conducting light plumbing tasks like plunging or snaking toilets and unclogging sinks, implementing preventative maintenance programs, conducting public space janitorial work, maintaining parking lot upkeep, performing trash cleanup, conducting PTAC cleaning, repairing drywall, painting, caulking
  • Maintaining and managing inventory of maintenance supplies and tools and providing orders to management
  • Prepping rooms for housekeepers including removing linens, trash, moving furniture, reviewing maintenance needs
  • Knowing and following property emergency procedures and ensuring security needs of the property and guests are met
  • Performing other duties as assigned
