Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- ability to lift, push, or pull up to 50 pounds
- experience in maintenance or janitorial work preferred but not mandatory
- ability to climb stairs and ladders repetitively
- capacity to perform tasks involving kneeling, squatting, sitting, standing, bending, and twisting for extended periods
- willingness to follow property emergency procedures
- reliable and punctual
- ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- previous experience in hotel maintenance or property management preferred
- strong problem-solving skills
- ability to perform physical tasks including lifting up to 50 pounds
- good communication skills
- team player with a flexible approach to job duties
Job Duties
- Manage work orders promptly while adhering to preventative maintenance schedules
- shampoo carpets and clean hard surface floors
- perform light electrical work such as changing outlets or wall switches
- undertake light plumbing tasks like plunging toilets and unclogging sinks
- maintain public spaces and parking lots including trash cleanup
- conduct PTAC cleaning and drywall repair
- prepare rooms for housekeeping by removing linens, trash, moving furniture, and assessing maintenance needs
- maintain and manage inventory of maintenance supplies and tools and submit orders to management
- know and follow property emergency procedures ensuring the security of the property and guests
- perform other duties as assigned
