Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • ability to lift, push, or pull up to 50 pounds
  • experience in maintenance or janitorial work preferred but not mandatory
  • ability to climb stairs and ladders repetitively
  • capacity to perform tasks involving kneeling, squatting, sitting, standing, bending, and twisting for extended periods
  • willingness to follow property emergency procedures
  • reliable and punctual
  • ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • previous experience in hotel maintenance or property management preferred
  • strong problem-solving skills
  • ability to perform physical tasks including lifting up to 50 pounds
  • good communication skills
  • team player with a flexible approach to job duties

Job Duties

  • Manage work orders promptly while adhering to preventative maintenance schedules
  • shampoo carpets and clean hard surface floors
  • perform light electrical work such as changing outlets or wall switches
  • undertake light plumbing tasks like plunging toilets and unclogging sinks
  • maintain public spaces and parking lots including trash cleanup
  • conduct PTAC cleaning and drywall repair
  • prepare rooms for housekeeping by removing linens, trash, moving furniture, and assessing maintenance needs
  • maintain and manage inventory of maintenance supplies and tools and submit orders to management
  • know and follow property emergency procedures ensuring the security of the property and guests
  • perform other duties as assigned
