Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior experience in property maintenance or similar role
- Ability to perform physical labor including lifting up to 50 pounds
- Capability to climb stairs and ladders repetitively
- Willingness to perform tasks involving kneeling, squatting, standing, bending, and twisting
- Reliable and flexible work attendance
- Ability to follow safety and emergency procedures
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in property maintenance or a related field preferred
- Basic knowledge of electrical and plumbing repairs
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Good communication skills
Job Duties
- Managing work orders in a timely manner while adhering to a proper preventative maintenance schedule
- Shampooing carpets and cleaning hard surface floors
- Performing light electrical work such as changing outlets or wall switches
- Performing light plumbing work such as plunging toilets and unclogging sinks
- Maintaining inventory of maintenance supplies and tools and providing orders to management
- Prepping rooms for housekeeping including removing linens, trash, and moving furniture
- Following property emergency procedures and ensuring security needs of the property and guests are met
- Performing other duties as assigned
