Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Prior experience in property maintenance or similar role
  • Ability to perform physical labor including lifting up to 50 pounds
  • Capability to climb stairs and ladders repetitively
  • Willingness to perform tasks involving kneeling, squatting, standing, bending, and twisting
  • Reliable and flexible work attendance
  • Ability to follow safety and emergency procedures

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience in property maintenance or a related field preferred
  • Basic knowledge of electrical and plumbing repairs
  • Ability to perform physically demanding tasks
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Good communication skills

Job Duties

  • Managing work orders in a timely manner while adhering to a proper preventative maintenance schedule
  • Shampooing carpets and cleaning hard surface floors
  • Performing light electrical work such as changing outlets or wall switches
  • Performing light plumbing work such as plunging toilets and unclogging sinks
  • Maintaining inventory of maintenance supplies and tools and providing orders to management
  • Prepping rooms for housekeeping including removing linens, trash, and moving furniture
  • Following property emergency procedures and ensuring security needs of the property and guests are met
  • Performing other duties as assigned
