Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • prior experience in maintenance or similar role preferred
  • ability to perform physical tasks including lifting up to 50 pounds
  • capability to work flexible hours as needed
  • willingness to follow safety and emergency procedures
  • proficiency in basic maintenance and janitorial duties
  • ability to work as part of a team and independently

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • previous experience in hotel maintenance or property management preferred
  • basic knowledge of electrical, plumbing, and janitorial tasks
  • ability to follow safety procedures and property emergency protocols
  • good physical condition to meet job demands
  • strong teamwork and communication skills
  • ability to manage inventory and maintenance supplies

Job Duties

  • Managing work orders in a timely manner while adhering to a proper preventative maintenance schedule
  • shampooing carpets or cleaning hard surface floors
  • performing light electrical work such as changing an outlet or wall switch
  • executing light plumbing tasks including plunging toilets, snaking toilets, and unclogging sinks
  • carrying out preventative maintenance programs
  • performing public space janitorial work
  • upkeep of parking lot and trash cleanup
  • cleaning PTAC units
  • drywall repair, painting, and caulking
  • maintaining and managing inventory of maintenance supplies and tools and providing orders to management
  • prepping rooms for housekeepers including removing linens, trash, moving furniture, and reviewing maintenance needs
  • knowing and following property emergency procedures and ensuring the security needs of the property and guests are met
  • performing other duties as assigned
