Job Requirements

  • high school diploma or equivalent
  • relevant experience in maintenance or related hospitality roles preferred
  • ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting, pushing, and pulling up to 50 pounds
  • flexibility to perform various duties as assigned
  • availability to work varied shifts if required
  • adherence to safety and emergency procedures
  • willingness to comply with company policies including drug-free workplace laws

Job Qualifications

  • high school diploma or equivalent
  • previous experience in maintenance or hotel property attendant role preferred
  • basic knowledge of electrical, plumbing, and general maintenance
  • ability to follow safety protocols and emergency procedures
  • strong organizational skills
  • effective communication skills
  • ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • physical ability to perform repetitive tasks involving climbing stairs and ladders, kneeling, squatting, sitting, standing, bending, twisting, and lifting up to 50 pounds

Job Duties

  • managing work orders in a timely manner while adhering to a proper preventative maintenance schedule
  • shampooing carpets or cleaning hard surface floors
  • performing light electrical work such as changing an outlet or wall switch
  • performing light plumbing including plunging toilets, snaking toilets, unclogging sinks
  • conducting public space janitorial work
  • maintaining parking lot upkeep and trash cleanup
  • cleaning PTAC units
  • drywall repair, painting, and caulking
  • maintaining and managing inventory of maintenance supplies and tools and providing orders to management
  • prepping rooms for housekeepers including removing linens, trash, moving furniture, reviewing maintenance needs
  • knowing and following property emergency procedures
  • ensuring security needs of the property and guests are met
  • performing other duties as assigned
