Job Requirements
- high school diploma or equivalent
- relevant experience in maintenance or related hospitality roles preferred
- ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting, pushing, and pulling up to 50 pounds
- flexibility to perform various duties as assigned
- availability to work varied shifts if required
- adherence to safety and emergency procedures
- willingness to comply with company policies including drug-free workplace laws
Job Qualifications
- high school diploma or equivalent
- previous experience in maintenance or hotel property attendant role preferred
- basic knowledge of electrical, plumbing, and general maintenance
- ability to follow safety protocols and emergency procedures
- strong organizational skills
- effective communication skills
- ability to work independently and as part of a team
- physical ability to perform repetitive tasks involving climbing stairs and ladders, kneeling, squatting, sitting, standing, bending, twisting, and lifting up to 50 pounds
Job Duties
- managing work orders in a timely manner while adhering to a proper preventative maintenance schedule
- shampooing carpets or cleaning hard surface floors
- performing light electrical work such as changing an outlet or wall switch
- performing light plumbing including plunging toilets, snaking toilets, unclogging sinks
- conducting public space janitorial work
- maintaining parking lot upkeep and trash cleanup
- cleaning PTAC units
- drywall repair, painting, and caulking
- maintaining and managing inventory of maintenance supplies and tools and providing orders to management
- prepping rooms for housekeepers including removing linens, trash, moving furniture, reviewing maintenance needs
- knowing and following property emergency procedures
- ensuring security needs of the property and guests are met
- performing other duties as assigned
