Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • relevant experience in property maintenance or similar role
  • ability to perform physical tasks involving kneeling, squatting, standing and lifting
  • basic knowledge of light electrical and plumbing repairs
  • flexibility to handle multiple duties
  • reliable and punctual
  • capable of following safety procedures
  • willingness to comply with company policies and drug-free workplace rules

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • prior experience in hotel maintenance or property management preferred
  • knowledge of basic electrical and plumbing maintenance
  • ability to perform physical tasks including lifting up to 50 pounds
  • strong organizational and multitasking skills
  • good communication and teamwork abilities
  • familiarity with emergency procedures and safety protocols

Job Duties

  • Managing work orders in a timely manner adhering to preventative maintenance schedules
  • performing light electrical work such as changing outlets and switches
  • handling light plumbing tasks including plunging and unclogging
  • performing janitorial work in public spaces and parking lot upkeep
  • shampooing carpets and cleaning hard surface floors
  • prepping rooms for housekeeping by removing linens and trash and moving furniture
  • monitoring and maintaining inventory of maintenance supplies and tools
  • following property emergency procedures and ensuring safety and security
  • performing drywall repair, painting and caulking
  • assisting with laundry duties
  • other duties as assigned
