Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- relevant experience in property maintenance or similar role
- ability to perform physical tasks involving kneeling, squatting, standing and lifting
- basic knowledge of light electrical and plumbing repairs
- flexibility to handle multiple duties
- reliable and punctual
- capable of following safety procedures
- willingness to comply with company policies and drug-free workplace rules
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- prior experience in hotel maintenance or property management preferred
- knowledge of basic electrical and plumbing maintenance
- ability to perform physical tasks including lifting up to 50 pounds
- strong organizational and multitasking skills
- good communication and teamwork abilities
- familiarity with emergency procedures and safety protocols
Job Duties
- Managing work orders in a timely manner adhering to preventative maintenance schedules
- performing light electrical work such as changing outlets and switches
- handling light plumbing tasks including plunging and unclogging
- performing janitorial work in public spaces and parking lot upkeep
- shampooing carpets and cleaning hard surface floors
- prepping rooms for housekeeping by removing linens and trash and moving furniture
- monitoring and maintaining inventory of maintenance supplies and tools
- following property emergency procedures and ensuring safety and security
- performing drywall repair, painting and caulking
- assisting with laundry duties
- other duties as assigned
