Job Requirements
- high school diploma or equivalent
- prior experience in property maintenance or hospitality preferred
- ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 pounds
- ability to climb stairs and ladders
- physical endurance to kneel, squat, sit, stand, bend, and twist for extended periods
- availability to work flexible hours as needed
- commitment to follow safety guidelines and emergency procedures
- legal authorization to work in the United States
Job Qualifications
- high school diploma or equivalent
- experience in hotel maintenance or a related field preferred
- ability to perform physical tasks including lifting up to 50 pounds
- basic knowledge of electrical and plumbing repairs
- good communication skills
- team player with a flexible approach to work
- willingness to learn and apply preventative maintenance procedures
- familiarity with safety and emergency protocols
Job Duties
- managing work orders in a timely manner while adhering to a proper preventative maintenance schedule
- shampooing carpets or cleaning hard surface floors
- performing light electrical work such as changing an outlet or wall switch
- performing light plumbing such as plunging toilets, snaking toilets, unclogging sinks
- executing preventative maintenance programs
- completing public space janitorial work
- maintaining parking lot upkeep
- conducting trash cleanup
- cleaning PTAC units
- performing drywall repair, painting, and caulking
- maintaining and managing inventory of maintenance supplies and tools
- providing orders to management
- prepping rooms for housekeepers including removing linens, trash, moving furniture, and reviewing maintenance needs
- knowing and following property emergency procedures
- ensuring the security needs of the property and guests are met
- performing other duties as assigned
