Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience in maintenance or housekeeping preferred
  • Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 pounds
  • Ability to perform physical tasks involving kneeling, squatting, sitting, standing, bending, and twisting for extended periods
  • Willingness to climb stairs and ladders repetitively
  • Flexibility to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Ability to follow safety guidelines and emergency protocols

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Experience in property maintenance or a related field preferred
  • Ability to perform light electrical and plumbing tasks
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Basic knowledge of safety and emergency procedures
  • Good communication skills

Job Duties

  • Managing work orders in a timely manner while adhering to a proper preventative maintenance schedule
  • Performing tasks including shampooing carpets, cleaning hard surface floors, light electrical work such as changing an outlet or wall switch, light plumbing including plunging toilets, snaking toilets, unclogging sinks
  • Conducting preventative maintenance programs
  • Performing public space janitorial work
  • Maintaining parking lot upkeep and trash cleanup
  • Cleaning PTAC units
  • Performing drywall repair, painting, and caulking
  • Maintaining and managing inventory of maintenance supplies and tools and providing orders to management
  • Prepping rooms for housekeepers by removing linens, trash, moving furniture, reviewing maintenance needs
  • Knowing and following property emergency procedures and ensuring the security needs of the property and guests are met
  • Performing other duties as assigned
