Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in maintenance or housekeeping preferred
- Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 pounds
- Ability to perform physical tasks involving kneeling, squatting, sitting, standing, bending, and twisting for extended periods
- Willingness to climb stairs and ladders repetitively
- Flexibility to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Ability to follow safety guidelines and emergency protocols
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience in property maintenance or a related field preferred
- Ability to perform light electrical and plumbing tasks
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Basic knowledge of safety and emergency procedures
- Good communication skills
Job Duties
- Managing work orders in a timely manner while adhering to a proper preventative maintenance schedule
- Performing tasks including shampooing carpets, cleaning hard surface floors, light electrical work such as changing an outlet or wall switch, light plumbing including plunging toilets, snaking toilets, unclogging sinks
- Conducting preventative maintenance programs
- Performing public space janitorial work
- Maintaining parking lot upkeep and trash cleanup
- Cleaning PTAC units
- Performing drywall repair, painting, and caulking
- Maintaining and managing inventory of maintenance supplies and tools and providing orders to management
- Prepping rooms for housekeepers by removing linens, trash, moving furniture, reviewing maintenance needs
- Knowing and following property emergency procedures and ensuring the security needs of the property and guests are met
- Performing other duties as assigned
