Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- prior experience in maintenance or hospitality is preferred
- ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting up to 50 pounds and climbing stairs
- reliable and punctual
- ability to follow safety guidelines and emergency protocols
- strong organizational skills
- willingness to work flexible hours
- commitment to providing excellent customer service
- legal authorization to work in the United States
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- experience in general maintenance or hotel property upkeep preferred
- ability to operate basic maintenance tools and equipment
- good communication skills
- ability to work independently and as part of a team
- understanding of safety protocols and emergency procedures
- physical ability to perform tasks involving lifting, bending, and climbing
- flexibility to handle multiple duties and responsibilities
Job Duties
- Managing work orders in a timely manner while adhering to a proper preventative maintenance schedule
- shampooing carpets and cleaning hard surface floors
- performing light electrical work such as changing outlets or wall switches
- conducting light plumbing tasks including plunging toilets and unclogging sinks
- executing preventative maintenance programs
- carrying out public space janitorial work and parking lot upkeep
- managing trash cleanup and PTAC cleaning
- performing drywall repair, painting, and caulking
- maintaining and managing inventory of maintenance supplies and tools and providing orders to management
- prepping rooms for housekeepers including removing linens, trash, moving furniture, and reviewing maintenance needs
- knowing and following property emergency procedures
- ensuring the security needs of the property and guests are met
- performing other duties as assigned
