Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- prior experience in a maintenance or hospitality role preferred
- ability to lift, push, or pull up to 50 pounds
- capability to perform physical tasks including climbing stairs and ladders, kneeling, squatting, sitting, standing, bending, and twisting for long periods
- flexibility to work varied shifts
- attention to detail
- ability to follow safety and emergency procedures
- legal work authorization in the United States
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- previous experience in hotel maintenance or property attendant roles preferred
- basic knowledge of electrical and plumbing systems
- ability to use maintenance tools and equipment safely
- strong teamwork and communication skills
- ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
- physical ability to perform demanding tasks such as lifting, climbing, and prolonged standing
- commitment to quality and guest satisfaction
Job Duties
- Managing work orders in a timely manner while adhering to a proper preventative maintenance schedule
- shampooing carpets or cleaning hard surface floors
- light electrical work such as changing an outlet or wall switch
- light plumbing such as plunging toilets, snaking toilets, unclogging sinks
- performing preventative maintenance programs
- janitorial work in public spaces
- parking lot upkeep and trash cleanup
- PTAC cleaning
- drywall repair, painting, caulking
- maintaining and managing inventory of maintenance supplies and tools
- providing orders to management
- prepping rooms for housekeepers including removing linens, trash, moving furniture, reviewing maintenance needs
- knowing and following property emergency procedures
- ensuring the security needs of the property and guests are met
- performing other duties as assigned
