Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • prior experience in maintenance or a related field preferred
  • ability to perform physically demanding tasks
  • ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 pounds
  • willingness to climb stairs and ladders frequently
  • availability to work flexible hours
  • adherence to company policies
  • legal authorization to work in the United States

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • previous experience in property maintenance or hospitality preferred
  • basic knowledge of electrical and plumbing repairs
  • ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting up to 50 pounds and climbing stairs or ladders
  • strong organizational skills
  • ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • good communication skills
  • flexibility to assist with various hotel duties
  • knowledge of safety and emergency procedures

Job Duties

  • Managing work orders in a timely manner while adhering to a proper preventative maintenance schedule
  • shampooing carpets or cleaning hard surface floors
  • performing light electrical work such as changing an outlet or wall switch
  • conducting light plumbing tasks including plunging toilets, snaking toilets, unclogging sinks
  • performing preventative maintenance programs
  • completing public space janitorial work
  • maintaining parking lot upkeep
  • conducting trash cleanup
  • performing PTAC cleaning
  • repairing drywall
  • painting
  • caulking
  • maintaining and managing inventory of maintenance supplies and tools and providing orders to management
  • prepping rooms for housekeepers including removing linens, trash, moving furniture, reviewing maintenance needs
  • knowing and following property emergency procedures
  • ensuring the security needs of the property and guests are met
  • performing other duties as assigned
