Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in maintenance or similar role preferred
- Ability to perform physical tasks such as climbing, bending, lifting up to 50 pounds
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Flexibility to complete various hotel responsibilities
- Knowledge of safety and emergency procedures
- Commitment to a drug-free workplace
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in hotel maintenance or property upkeep preferred
- Ability to perform light electrical and plumbing repairs
- Strong organizational and inventory management skills
- Effective communication and teamwork abilities
- Physical capability to perform repetitive climbing, kneeling, lifting up to 50 pounds
- Knowledge of property emergency procedures
Job Duties
- Managing work orders in a timely manner while adhering to a proper preventative maintenance schedule
- Shampooing carpets or cleaning hard surface floors
- Performing light electrical work such as changing outlets or wall switches
- Conducting light plumbing tasks including plunging toilets and unclogging sinks
- Executing public space janitorial work and parking lot upkeep
- Maintaining and managing inventory of maintenance supplies and tools
- Prepping rooms for housekeepers including removing linens and trash
- Knowing and following property emergency procedures
- Ensuring the security needs of the property and guests are met
- Performing other duties as assigned
