Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • previous experience in maintenance or housekeeping support
  • ability to perform physical tasks including climbing stairs and ladders
  • capability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 pounds
  • flexible availability to complete various hotel responsibilities
  • adherence to safety protocols
  • legal authorization to work in the United States

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • prior experience in hotel maintenance or property attendant roles preferred
  • ability to perform basic electrical and plumbing repairs
  • strong multitasking and organizational skills
  • ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • excellent communication skills
  • physical ability to perform manual tasks including lifting up to 50lbs
  • knowledge of safety and emergency procedures

Job Duties

  • Manage work orders in a timely manner
  • adhere to preventative maintenance schedules
  • perform light electrical work such as changing outlets or switches
  • conduct light plumbing tasks including plunging and unclogging sinks
  • shampoo carpets and clean hard surface floors
  • repair drywall and perform painting and caulking
  • maintain and manage inventory of maintenance supplies and tools
  • prep rooms for housekeeping by removing linens and trash and moving furniture
  • review and report maintenance needs in rooms
  • follow property emergency procedures and ensure security needs are met
  • perform other duties as assigned
