Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- previous experience in maintenance or housekeeping support
- ability to perform physical tasks including climbing stairs and ladders
- capability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 pounds
- flexible availability to complete various hotel responsibilities
- adherence to safety protocols
- legal authorization to work in the United States
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- prior experience in hotel maintenance or property attendant roles preferred
- ability to perform basic electrical and plumbing repairs
- strong multitasking and organizational skills
- ability to work independently and as part of a team
- excellent communication skills
- physical ability to perform manual tasks including lifting up to 50lbs
- knowledge of safety and emergency procedures
Job Duties
- Manage work orders in a timely manner
- adhere to preventative maintenance schedules
- perform light electrical work such as changing outlets or switches
- conduct light plumbing tasks including plunging and unclogging sinks
- shampoo carpets and clean hard surface floors
- repair drywall and perform painting and caulking
- maintain and manage inventory of maintenance supplies and tools
- prep rooms for housekeeping by removing linens and trash and moving furniture
- review and report maintenance needs in rooms
- follow property emergency procedures and ensure security needs are met
- perform other duties as assigned
