Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- prior maintenance experience preferred
- ability to perform light electrical and plumbing work
- physical ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 pounds
- capable of repetitive climbing, kneeling, squatting, sitting, standing, bending, and twisting for long periods
- must follow property emergency procedures
- flexible to perform multiple hotel-related duties
- willingness to assist with housekeeping and laundry tasks
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- prior experience in hotel maintenance or related field preferred
- strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- ability to perform light electrical and plumbing tasks
- effective inventory management skills
- good communication and teamwork abilities
- ability to follow safety guidelines and emergency procedures
- physically able to perform tasks including lifting up to 50 pounds, climbing stairs and ladders, kneeling, squatting, bending and standing for extended periods
Job Duties
- Managing work orders in a timely manner while adhering to a proper preventative maintenance schedule
- shampooing carpets or cleaning hard surface floors
- performing light electrical work such as changing an outlet or wall switch
- light plumbing duties including plunging toilets, snaking toilets, unclogging sinks
- conducting preventative maintenance programs
- performing public space janitorial work
- maintaining parking lot upkeep
- cleaning trash areas
- cleaning PTAC units
- drywall repair
- painting
- caulking
- maintaining and managing inventory of maintenance supplies and tools and providing orders to management
- prepping rooms for housekeepers by removing linens, trash, moving furniture, reviewing maintenance needs
- knowing and following property emergency procedures and ensuring the security needs of the property and guests are met
- performing other duties as assigned
