Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- prior maintenance or janitorial experience preferred
- ability to perform physical tasks including lifting up to 50 pounds
- reliable transportation for commute
- ability to follow safety standards and emergency protocols
- flexible availability including weekends and holidays
- ability to work in various weather conditions
- basic knowledge of maintenance tools and equipment
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- previous experience in property maintenance or hotel environment preferred
- ability to handle minor electrical and plumbing repairs
- strong organizational skills for inventory management
- ability to work independently and as part of a team
- good communication skills
- familiarity with safety and emergency procedures
- physical capability to perform repetitive climbing of stairs and ladders
- ability to perform tasks involving kneeling, squatting, sitting, standing, bending, and twisting for extended periods
Job Duties
- Managing work orders in a timely manner while adhering to a proper preventative maintenance schedule
- shampooing carpets or cleaning hard surface floors
- performing light electrical work such as changing an outlet or wall switch
- handling light plumbing tasks including plunging toilets, snaking toilets, and unclogging sinks
- conducting preventative maintenance programs
- performing public space janitorial work
- maintaining the parking lot and performing trash cleanup
- cleaning PTAC units
- repairing drywall
- painting
- caulking
- maintaining and managing inventory of maintenance supplies and tools
- providing orders to management
- prepping rooms for housekeepers including removing linens, trash, moving furniture, and reviewing maintenance needs
- knowing and following property emergency procedures
- ensuring security needs of the property and guests are met
- performing other duties as assigned
