Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior experience in hotel or property maintenance preferred
- Ability to perform light electrical and plumbing work
- Physically able to climb stairs and ladders repeatedly
- Ability to lift, push, or pull up to 50 lbs
- Capability to perform tasks involving kneeling, squatting, bending, twisting, and standing for extended periods
- Flexibility to work a range of duties and schedules
- Willingness to follow safety and emergency procedures
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in hotel maintenance or property attendant role preferred
- Basic knowledge of electrical, plumbing, and general maintenance tasks
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong communication skills
- Physically capable of performing tasks that require lifting up to 50 lbs and prolonged standing
- Commitment to safety and security protocols
- Flexibility to handle multiple responsibilities simultaneously
Job Duties
- Managing work orders and performing preventative maintenance including carpet shampooing, floor cleaning, light electrical and plumbing repairs
- Maintaining and managing inventory of maintenance supplies and tools and providing orders to management
- Prepping rooms for housekeepers by removing linens, trash, moving furniture, reviewing maintenance needs
- Adhering to property emergency procedures and ensuring security of the property and guests
- Performing public space janitorial tasks, parking lot upkeep, trash cleanup, PTAC cleaning, drywall repair, painting, and caulking
- Assisting with laundry duties as needed
- Completing other duties as assigned
