Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Prior experience in hotel or property maintenance preferred
  • Ability to perform light electrical and plumbing work
  • Physically able to climb stairs and ladders repeatedly
  • Ability to lift, push, or pull up to 50 lbs
  • Capability to perform tasks involving kneeling, squatting, bending, twisting, and standing for extended periods
  • Flexibility to work a range of duties and schedules
  • Willingness to follow safety and emergency procedures

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience in hotel maintenance or property attendant role preferred
  • Basic knowledge of electrical, plumbing, and general maintenance tasks
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong communication skills
  • Physically capable of performing tasks that require lifting up to 50 lbs and prolonged standing
  • Commitment to safety and security protocols
  • Flexibility to handle multiple responsibilities simultaneously

Job Duties

  • Managing work orders and performing preventative maintenance including carpet shampooing, floor cleaning, light electrical and plumbing repairs
  • Maintaining and managing inventory of maintenance supplies and tools and providing orders to management
  • Prepping rooms for housekeepers by removing linens, trash, moving furniture, reviewing maintenance needs
  • Adhering to property emergency procedures and ensuring security of the property and guests
  • Performing public space janitorial tasks, parking lot upkeep, trash cleanup, PTAC cleaning, drywall repair, painting, and caulking
  • Assisting with laundry duties as needed
  • Completing other duties as assigned
