Job Requirements
- high school diploma or equivalent
- experience in maintenance or related field preferred
- ability to handle physical demands including climbing stairs and ladders, kneeling, squatting, standing, bending, twisting for extended periods
- ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 pounds
- flexibility to complete multiple responsibilities
- willingness to comply with company policies including nondiscrimination and drug-free workplace standards
Job Qualifications
- high school diploma or equivalent
- previous experience in property maintenance or hospitality maintenance preferred
- ability to perform light electrical and plumbing repairs
- good organizational and multitasking skills
- ability to follow safety and emergency procedures
- effective communication skills
- ability to work independently and as part of a team
Job Duties
- managing work orders in a timely manner while adhering to a proper preventative maintenance schedule
- shampooing carpets and cleaning hard surface floors
- performing light electrical work such as changing outlets or wall switches
- performing light plumbing work including plunging toilets, snaking toilets, and unclogging sinks
- conducting preventative maintenance programs
- performing janitorial work in public spaces
- maintaining parking lot upkeep and trash cleanup
- cleaning PTAC units
- repairing drywall, painting, and caulking
- maintaining and managing inventory of maintenance supplies and tools and providing orders to management
- prepping rooms for housekeepers including removing linens, trash, moving furniture, and reviewing maintenance needs
- knowing and following property emergency procedures and ensuring security needs of the property and guests are met
- performing other duties as assigned
