Job Requirements

  • high school diploma or equivalent
  • experience in maintenance or related field preferred
  • ability to handle physical demands including climbing stairs and ladders, kneeling, squatting, standing, bending, twisting for extended periods
  • ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 pounds
  • flexibility to complete multiple responsibilities
  • willingness to comply with company policies including nondiscrimination and drug-free workplace standards

Job Qualifications

  • high school diploma or equivalent
  • previous experience in property maintenance or hospitality maintenance preferred
  • ability to perform light electrical and plumbing repairs
  • good organizational and multitasking skills
  • ability to follow safety and emergency procedures
  • effective communication skills
  • ability to work independently and as part of a team

Job Duties

  • managing work orders in a timely manner while adhering to a proper preventative maintenance schedule
  • shampooing carpets and cleaning hard surface floors
  • performing light electrical work such as changing outlets or wall switches
  • performing light plumbing work including plunging toilets, snaking toilets, and unclogging sinks
  • conducting preventative maintenance programs
  • performing janitorial work in public spaces
  • maintaining parking lot upkeep and trash cleanup
  • cleaning PTAC units
  • repairing drywall, painting, and caulking
  • maintaining and managing inventory of maintenance supplies and tools and providing orders to management
  • prepping rooms for housekeepers including removing linens, trash, moving furniture, and reviewing maintenance needs
  • knowing and following property emergency procedures and ensuring security needs of the property and guests are met
  • performing other duties as assigned
