Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience in hotel maintenance or similar role preferred
  • Ability to follow property safety and emergency procedures
  • Capacity to perform physical labor including lifting up to 50 pounds
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently
  • Flexibility to work various shifts as required
  • Willingness to maintain a clean and safe environment
  • Commitment to upholding company policies and standards

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Experience in general maintenance or housekeeping preferred
  • Ability to perform physical tasks including climbing stairs and ladders
  • Basic skills in light electrical and plumbing work
  • Strong team player with flexibility to handle multiple responsibilities
  • Reliable and detail-oriented
  • Good communication skills

Job Duties

  • Managing work orders in a timely manner while adhering to a proper preventative maintenance schedule
  • Shampooing carpets and cleaning hard surface floors
  • Performing light electrical work such as changing an outlet or wall switch
  • Conducting light plumbing tasks including plunging and snaking toilets and unclogging sinks
  • Maintaining public space janitorial work, parking lot upkeep, and trash cleanup
  • Cleaning PTAC units, drywall repair, painting, and caulking
  • Prepping rooms for housekeepers including removing linens, trash, and moving furniture
  • Reviewing maintenance needs in rooms
  • Maintaining and managing inventory of maintenance supplies and tools
  • Providing orders of supplies to management
  • Knowing and following property emergency procedures
  • Ensuring the security needs of the property and guests are met
  • Performing other duties as assigned
