Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • ability to perform physical tasks including kneeling, squatting, standing, bending, twisting for long periods
  • capable of lifting, pushing, or pulling up to 50 pounds
  • flexible team player willing to perform multiple roles
  • knowledge of basic maintenance and cleaning procedures
  • ability to follow property emergency procedures
  • prior hospitality experience preferred

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • prior experience in hotel maintenance or property attendant roles preferred
  • basic knowledge of electrical, plumbing, and janitorial tasks
  • good communication skills
  • ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • understanding of safety and emergency protocols
  • physical capability to perform demanding tasks

Job Duties

  • Managing work orders in a timely manner while adhering to a proper preventative maintenance schedule
  • shampooing carpets and cleaning hard surface floors
  • performing light electrical work such as changing outlets or wall switches
  • performing light plumbing tasks including plunging and unclogging toilets and sinks
  • executing preventative maintenance programs
  • conducting public space janitorial work
  • maintaining parking lot and trash cleanup
  • cleaning PTAC units
  • drywall repair, painting, and caulking
  • maintaining and managing inventory of maintenance supplies and tools and providing orders to management
  • prepping rooms for housekeepers including removing linens, trash, moving furniture, reviewing maintenance needs
  • knowing and following property emergency procedures
  • ensuring security needs of the property and guests are met
  • performing other duties as assigned
