Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- ability to perform physical tasks including kneeling, squatting, standing, bending, twisting for long periods
- capable of lifting, pushing, or pulling up to 50 pounds
- flexible team player willing to perform multiple roles
- knowledge of basic maintenance and cleaning procedures
- ability to follow property emergency procedures
- prior hospitality experience preferred
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- prior experience in hotel maintenance or property attendant roles preferred
- basic knowledge of electrical, plumbing, and janitorial tasks
- good communication skills
- ability to work independently and as part of a team
- understanding of safety and emergency protocols
- physical capability to perform demanding tasks
Job Duties
- Managing work orders in a timely manner while adhering to a proper preventative maintenance schedule
- shampooing carpets and cleaning hard surface floors
- performing light electrical work such as changing outlets or wall switches
- performing light plumbing tasks including plunging and unclogging toilets and sinks
- executing preventative maintenance programs
- conducting public space janitorial work
- maintaining parking lot and trash cleanup
- cleaning PTAC units
- drywall repair, painting, and caulking
- maintaining and managing inventory of maintenance supplies and tools and providing orders to management
- prepping rooms for housekeepers including removing linens, trash, moving furniture, reviewing maintenance needs
- knowing and following property emergency procedures
- ensuring security needs of the property and guests are met
- performing other duties as assigned
