Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- prior experience in maintenance or hospitality preferred but not required
- ability to perform physical tasks including lifting up to 50lbs
- flexible availability to accommodate various work schedules
- reliable transportation to work location
- ability to work independently and as part of a team
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- prior experience in property maintenance or hospitality preferred
- good knowledge of basic electrical and plumbing repair
- ability to follow safety protocols and emergency procedures
- strong teamwork and communication skills
- ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently
- physical capability to perform duties involving climbing stairs, bending, lifting, and standing for long periods
Job Duties
- Managing work orders in a timely manner while adhering to a proper preventative maintenance schedule
- shampooing carpets or cleaning hard surface floors
- performing light electrical work such as changing an outlet or wall switch
- conducting light plumbing tasks including plunging toilets and unclogging sinks
- public space janitorial work and parking lot upkeep
- prepping rooms for housekeepers including removing linens, trash, moving furniture, reviewing maintenance needs
- knowing and following property emergency procedures and ensuring security needs are met
- maintaining and managing inventory of maintenance supplies and tools and providing orders to management
- performing other duties as assigned
