Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • prior experience in maintenance or hospitality preferred but not required
  • ability to perform physical tasks including lifting up to 50lbs
  • flexible availability to accommodate various work schedules
  • reliable transportation to work location
  • ability to work independently and as part of a team

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • prior experience in property maintenance or hospitality preferred
  • good knowledge of basic electrical and plumbing repair
  • ability to follow safety protocols and emergency procedures
  • strong teamwork and communication skills
  • ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently
  • physical capability to perform duties involving climbing stairs, bending, lifting, and standing for long periods

Job Duties

  • Managing work orders in a timely manner while adhering to a proper preventative maintenance schedule
  • shampooing carpets or cleaning hard surface floors
  • performing light electrical work such as changing an outlet or wall switch
  • conducting light plumbing tasks including plunging toilets and unclogging sinks
  • public space janitorial work and parking lot upkeep
  • prepping rooms for housekeepers including removing linens, trash, moving furniture, reviewing maintenance needs
  • knowing and following property emergency procedures and ensuring security needs are met
  • maintaining and managing inventory of maintenance supplies and tools and providing orders to management
  • performing other duties as assigned
