Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • previous experience in maintenance or hospitality preferred
  • ability to lift, push, or pull up to 50 pounds
  • ability to climb stairs and ladders repetitively
  • ability to kneel, squat, stand, bend, or twist for long periods
  • flexible to work varied shifts
  • willingness to follow safety and emergency protocols

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • experience in property maintenance or hotel operations preferred
  • ability to perform light electrical and plumbing tasks
  • knowledge of preventative maintenance procedures
  • good physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks
  • basic inventory management skills
  • effective communication and teamwork skills
  • commitment to guest service and safety

Job Duties

  • Managing work orders in a timely manner while adhering to a proper preventative maintenance schedule
  • shampooing carpets or cleaning hard surface floors
  • light electrical work such as changing an outlet or wall switch
  • light plumbing such as plunging toilets or unclogging sinks
  • performing public space janitorial work and parking lot upkeep
  • maintaining and managing inventory of maintenance supplies and tools
  • prepping rooms for housekeepers including removing linens and trash
  • knowing and following property emergency procedures
  • performing other duties as assigned
