Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous hotel maintenance or related experience preferred
  • Ability to perform physical tasks involving kneeling, bending, and lifting
  • Ability to climb stairs and ladders
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Flexibility to work various shifts
  • Commitment to following safety and emergency procedures

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience in hotel maintenance or property attendant roles preferred
  • Basic knowledge of electrical and plumbing repairs
  • Ability to operate maintenance tools and equipment
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Good communication and teamwork abilities
  • Physical ability to perform required tasks including lifting up to 50 pounds

Job Duties

  • Managing work orders in a timely manner adhering to a proper preventative maintenance schedule including shampooing carpets, cleaning floors
  • Performing light electrical work such as changing outlets or switches
  • Conducting light plumbing tasks like plunging and unclogging sinks
  • Performing janitorial work in public spaces and maintaining parking lot upkeep
  • Prepping rooms for housekeeping by removing linens, trash, moving furniture, and reviewing maintenance needs
  • Maintaining and managing inventory of maintenance supplies and tools and ordering as needed
  • Following property emergency procedures and ensuring security needs of property and guests are met
