Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous hotel maintenance or related experience preferred
- Ability to perform physical tasks involving kneeling, bending, and lifting
- Ability to climb stairs and ladders
- Strong attention to detail
- Flexibility to work various shifts
- Commitment to following safety and emergency procedures
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in hotel maintenance or property attendant roles preferred
- Basic knowledge of electrical and plumbing repairs
- Ability to operate maintenance tools and equipment
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Good communication and teamwork abilities
- Physical ability to perform required tasks including lifting up to 50 pounds
Job Duties
- Managing work orders in a timely manner adhering to a proper preventative maintenance schedule including shampooing carpets, cleaning floors
- Performing light electrical work such as changing outlets or switches
- Conducting light plumbing tasks like plunging and unclogging sinks
- Performing janitorial work in public spaces and maintaining parking lot upkeep
- Prepping rooms for housekeeping by removing linens, trash, moving furniture, and reviewing maintenance needs
- Maintaining and managing inventory of maintenance supplies and tools and ordering as needed
- Following property emergency procedures and ensuring security needs of property and guests are met
