Job Requirements

  • high school diploma or equivalent
  • ability to perform maintenance and cleaning duties
  • physical capability to lift up to 50lbs
  • ability to climb stairs and ladders repetitively
  • good communication skills
  • ability to follow safety and emergency procedures
  • flexibility to handle multiple tasks and work in a team environment

Job Qualifications

  • high school diploma or equivalent
  • previous experience in hotel maintenance or property attendant role preferred
  • basic knowledge of electrical and plumbing systems
  • ability to use cleaning and maintenance equipment safely
  • strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • good communication and teamwork abilities
  • physically able to perform tasks involving lifting, bending, climbing, and standing for long periods
  • willingness to learn and adapt to new responsibilities

Job Duties

  • managing work orders in a timely manner while adhering to a proper preventative maintenance schedule
  • shampooing carpets or cleaning hard surface floors
  • performing light electrical work such as changing an outlet or wall switch
  • performing light plumbing such as plunging toilets, snaking toilets, unclogging sinks
  • conducting preventative maintenance programs
  • performing public space janitorial work
  • maintaining parking lot upkeep and trash cleanup
  • cleaning PTAC units
  • performing drywall repair, painting, and caulking
  • maintaining and managing inventory of maintenance supplies and tools and providing orders to management
  • prepping rooms for housekeepers including removing linens, trash, moving furniture, reviewing maintenance needs
  • knowing and following property emergency procedures
  • ensuring the security needs of the property and guests are met
  • performing other duties as assigned
