Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- previous experience in maintenance or hospitality preferred
- ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting up to 50 lbs, kneeling, squatting, bending, twisting, and climbing stairs or ladders
- must be flexible and able to multi-task
- good communication skills
- willingness to follow safety and emergency procedures
- able to work under general supervision
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- experience in property maintenance or hotel environment preferred
- ability to perform minor electrical and plumbing repairs
- strong organizational and inventory management skills
- good communication and teamwork abilities
- physical capability to perform demanding tasks including lifting up to 50 lbs and climbing stairs and ladders
- knowledge of safety and emergency procedures
Job Duties
- Managing work orders in a timely manner while adhering to a proper preventative maintenance schedule
- shampooing carpets or cleaning hard surface floors
- performing light electrical work such as changing an outlet or wall switch
- conducting light plumbing tasks including plunging toilets, snaking toilets, and unclogging sinks
- participating in preventative maintenance programs
- performing public space janitorial work
- maintaining parking lot upkeep and trash cleanup
- cleaning PTAC units
- repairing drywall
- painting and caulking
- maintaining and managing inventory of maintenance supplies and tools
- providing orders to management
- prepping rooms for housekeepers including removing linens, trash, moving furniture, reviewing maintenance needs
- knowing and following property emergency procedures
- ensuring the security needs of the property and guests are met
- performing other duties as assigned
