Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 pounds
  • capability to perform repetitive tasks involving kneeling, squatting, sitting, standing, bending, and twisting
  • experience with general maintenance tasks preferred
  • availability to work varied shifts as needed
  • adherence to company policies including being drug-free
  • commitment to follow emergency procedures
  • willingness to undertake various duties as assigned

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • previous experience in property maintenance or hotel housekeeping preferred
  • ability to perform physical tasks including lifting up to 50 pounds
  • basic knowledge of preventative maintenance procedures
  • strong organizational skills
  • good communication skills
  • ability to work effectively in a team
  • flexibility to handle multiple responsibilities

Job Duties

  • Managing work orders in a timely manner while adhering to a proper preventative maintenance schedule
  • shampooing carpets or cleaning hard surface floors
  • performing light electrical work such as changing an outlet or wall switch
  • performing light plumbing tasks including plunging toilets, snaking toilets, and unclogging sinks
  • executing janitorial work in public spaces
  • maintaining parking lot upkeep and trash cleanup
  • cleaning PTAC units
  • repairing drywall
  • painting and caulking
  • maintaining and managing inventory of maintenance supplies and tools
  • providing orders to management
  • prepping rooms for housekeepers including removing linens and trash, moving furniture, and reviewing maintenance needs
  • knowing and following property emergency procedures
  • ensuring the security needs of the property and guests are met
  • performing other duties as assigned
