Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 pounds
- capability to perform repetitive tasks involving kneeling, squatting, sitting, standing, bending, and twisting
- experience with general maintenance tasks preferred
- availability to work varied shifts as needed
- adherence to company policies including being drug-free
- commitment to follow emergency procedures
- willingness to undertake various duties as assigned
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- previous experience in property maintenance or hotel housekeeping preferred
- ability to perform physical tasks including lifting up to 50 pounds
- basic knowledge of preventative maintenance procedures
- strong organizational skills
- good communication skills
- ability to work effectively in a team
- flexibility to handle multiple responsibilities
Job Duties
- Managing work orders in a timely manner while adhering to a proper preventative maintenance schedule
- shampooing carpets or cleaning hard surface floors
- performing light electrical work such as changing an outlet or wall switch
- performing light plumbing tasks including plunging toilets, snaking toilets, and unclogging sinks
- executing janitorial work in public spaces
- maintaining parking lot upkeep and trash cleanup
- cleaning PTAC units
- repairing drywall
- painting and caulking
- maintaining and managing inventory of maintenance supplies and tools
- providing orders to management
- prepping rooms for housekeepers including removing linens and trash, moving furniture, and reviewing maintenance needs
- knowing and following property emergency procedures
- ensuring the security needs of the property and guests are met
- performing other duties as assigned
