Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- prior experience in a maintenance or property attendant role preferred
- physical ability to lift, push, or pull up to 50 pounds
- ability to perform repetitive climbing of stairs and ladders
- capability to engage in prolonged kneeling, squatting, sitting, standing, bending, and twisting
- reliable and punctual work ethic
- willingness to follow company policies and emergency procedures
- good interpersonal skills
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- experience in general maintenance or hospitality property maintenance preferred
- ability to work independently and as part of a team
- good communication and problem-solving skills
- physical ability to perform demanding tasks including lifting up to 50 pounds
- knowledge of safety procedures and emergency protocols
- flexibility to handle multiple tasks
- basic electrical and plumbing skills
Job Duties
- Managing work orders in a timely manner while adhering to a proper preventative maintenance schedule
- shampooing carpets or cleaning hard surface floors
- performing light electrical work such as changing an outlet or wall switch
- executing light plumbing tasks like plunging or snaking toilets and unclogging sinks
- engaging in public space janitorial work
- maintaining parking lot upkeep and trash cleanup
- conducting PTAC cleaning, drywall repair, painting, caulking
- maintaining and managing inventory of maintenance supplies and tools and providing orders to management
- prepping rooms for housekeepers including removing linens, trash, moving furniture, reviewing maintenance needs
- knowing and following property emergency procedures and ensuring security needs of the property and guests are met
- performing other duties as assigned
