Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Relevant experience in hotel maintenance or property attendant role preferred
  • Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting up to 50 pounds
  • Flexibility to work varied shifts
  • Good problem-solving skills
  • Valid work authorization
  • Ability to follow safety and emergency procedures

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience in property maintenance or a similar role preferred
  • Basic knowledge of electrical and plumbing systems
  • Ability to operate cleaning equipment and tools safely
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication skills

Job Duties

  • Managing work orders in a timely manner while adhering to preventative maintenance schedules
  • Shampooing carpets and cleaning hard surface floors
  • Performing light electrical and plumbing work such as changing outlets, plunging toilets, and unclogging sinks
  • Conducting preventative maintenance programs including drywall repair, painting, caulking, and PTAC cleaning
  • Maintaining and managing inventory of maintenance supplies and tools and providing orders to management
  • Prepping rooms for housekeepers by removing linens, trash, moving furniture, and reviewing maintenance needs
  • Knowing and following property emergency procedures and ensuring security needs of the property and guests are met
