Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Relevant experience in hotel maintenance or property attendant role preferred
- Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting up to 50 pounds
- Flexibility to work varied shifts
- Good problem-solving skills
- Valid work authorization
- Ability to follow safety and emergency procedures
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in property maintenance or a similar role preferred
- Basic knowledge of electrical and plumbing systems
- Ability to operate cleaning equipment and tools safely
- Strong organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent communication skills
Job Duties
- Managing work orders in a timely manner while adhering to preventative maintenance schedules
- Shampooing carpets and cleaning hard surface floors
- Performing light electrical and plumbing work such as changing outlets, plunging toilets, and unclogging sinks
- Conducting preventative maintenance programs including drywall repair, painting, caulking, and PTAC cleaning
- Maintaining and managing inventory of maintenance supplies and tools and providing orders to management
- Prepping rooms for housekeepers by removing linens, trash, moving furniture, and reviewing maintenance needs
- Knowing and following property emergency procedures and ensuring security needs of the property and guests are met
