Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • prior experience in maintenance or hotel property attendant preferred
  • ability to perform physical tasks including lifting up to 50 pounds
  • willingness to climb stairs and ladders
  • ability to follow safety and emergency procedures
  • strong organizational skills
  • valid work authorization
  • flexibility to handle multiple responsibilities
  • drug-free status

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • prior experience in hotel maintenance or property attendant role preferred
  • knowledge of basic electrical and plumbing repairs
  • ability to use maintenance tools safely and effectively
  • strong attention to detail
  • good communication skills
  • ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • physical stamina to perform repetitive climbing, bending, squatting, and lifting
  • familiarity with safety protocols and emergency procedures

Job Duties

  • Managing work orders in a timely manner while adhering to a proper preventative maintenance schedule
  • shampooing carpets and cleaning hard surface floors
  • performing light electrical work such as changing outlets or wall switches
  • carrying out light plumbing tasks including plunging toilets, snaking toilets, and unclogging sinks
  • executing preventative maintenance programs
  • performing public space janitorial work
  • maintaining parking lot upkeep and trash cleanup
  • cleaning PTAC units
  • repairing drywall and painting
  • caulking
  • maintaining and managing inventory of maintenance supplies and tools
  • providing supply orders to management
  • prepping rooms for housekeeping by removing linens and trash, moving furniture, and reviewing maintenance needs
  • knowing and following property emergency procedures
  • ensuring security needs of the property and guests are met
  • performing other duties as assigned
