Job Requirements

  • Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
  • physical ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 pounds
  • capability to perform tasks involving kneeling, squatting, sitting, standing, bending, and twisting for extended periods
  • willingness to climb stairs and ladders repetitively
  • commitment to maintaining a safe and clean environment

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • prior experience in hotel maintenance or property attendant roles preferred
  • basic knowledge of electrical and plumbing repairs
  • ability to operate cleaning and maintenance equipment
  • strong organizational and time management skills
  • good communication and teamwork abilities
  • flexibility to perform various duties as required

Job Duties

  • Managing work orders in a timely manner while adhering to a proper preventative maintenance schedule
  • shampooing carpets or cleaning hard surface floors
  • light electrical work such as changing an outlet or wall switch
  • light plumbing including plunging toilets, snaking toilets, unclogging sinks
  • performing public space janitorial work
  • maintaining parking lot upkeep and trash cleanup
  • performing PTAC cleaning, drywall repair, painting, caulking
  • maintaining and managing inventory of maintenance supplies and tools
  • providing orders to management
  • prepping rooms for housekeepers including removing linens, trash, moving furniture, reviewing maintenance needs
  • knowing and following property emergency procedures
  • ensuring the security needs of the property and guests are met
  • performing other duties as assigned
