Job Requirements

  • high school diploma or equivalent
  • prior experience in maintenance or housekeeping preferred
  • ability to perform physical tasks including lifting up to 50lbs, climbing stairs and ladders, kneeling, squatting, sitting, standing, bending and twisting for extended periods
  • reliable and punctual
  • ability to work flexible hours
  • knowledge of hotel safety and emergency procedures
  • ability to communicate effectively with team members and management

Job Qualifications

  • high school diploma or equivalent
  • experience in property maintenance or hotel housekeeping preferred
  • basic knowledge of preventative maintenance techniques
  • good physical stamina and ability to perform repetitive physical tasks
  • ability to follow safety protocols and emergency procedures
  • strong teamwork and communication skills
  • flexibility to manage multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment

Job Duties

  • managing work orders in a timely manner while adhering to a proper preventative maintenance schedule
  • shampooing carpets or cleaning hard surface floors
  • performing light electrical work such as changing an outlet or wall switch
  • handling light plumbing tasks including plunging toilets, snaking toilets, and unclogging sinks
  • conducting preventative maintenance programs
  • performing janitorial work in public spaces
  • maintaining parking lot upkeep
  • handling trash cleanup
  • cleaning PTAC units
  • repairing drywall
  • painting and caulking
  • maintaining and managing inventory of maintenance supplies and tools
  • providing supply orders to management
  • prepping rooms for housekeepers including removing linens, trash, moving furniture, and reviewing maintenance needs
  • knowing and following property emergency procedures
  • ensuring the security needs of the property and guests are met
  • performing other duties as assigned
