Job Requirements
- Ability to perform repetitive climbing of stairs and ladders
- Ability to perform tasks involving kneeling, squatting, sitting, standing, bending and twisting for long periods of time
- Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 pounds
- Flexibility to complete multiple hotel responsibilities

Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in hotel maintenance or a similar role preferred
- Basic knowledge of electrical and plumbing systems
- Ability to multitask and manage time effectively
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Physical ability to perform tasks involving heavy lifting, bending, and climbing
- Willingness to adhere to safety protocols and emergency procedures
Job Duties
- Managing work orders in a timely manner while adhering to a proper preventative maintenance schedule
- Shampooing carpets or cleaning hard surface floors
- Performing light electrical work such as changing an outlet or wall switch
- Handling light plumbing tasks including plunging toilets, snaking toilets and unclogging sinks
- Conducting preventative maintenance programs
- Performing public space janitorial work and parking lot upkeep
- Cleaning trash and PTAC units
- Repairing drywall and painting
- Caulking as needed
- Maintaining and managing inventory of maintenance supplies and tools
- Providing orders to management
- Prepping rooms for housekeepers including removing linens, trash, moving furniture, reviewing maintenance needs
- Knowing and following property emergency procedures
- Ensuring the security needs of the property and guests are met
- Performing other duties as assigned
