Job Requirements
- Ability to lift, push, or pull up to 50 pounds
- experience in preventative maintenance and light repair work
- willingness to perform janitorial and housekeeping support duties
- strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- ability to climb stairs and ladders repeatedly
- capability to kneel, squat, sit, stand, bend, and twist for long periods
- commitment to follow property emergency procedures
- legal authorization to work in the United States
- flexibility to work varied shifts if required
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- prior experience in building maintenance or hotel property upkeep
- basic knowledge of electrical and plumbing repairs
- strong organizational and multitasking skills
- ability to work independently and as part of a team
- excellent communication skills
- flexible and adaptable to changing tasks
- familiarity with safety and emergency procedures
- physical ability to perform required tasks
Job Duties
- Managing work orders in a timely manner while adhering to a proper preventative maintenance schedule
- shampooing carpets or cleaning hard surface floors
- performing light electrical work such as changing an outlet or wall switch
- conducting light plumbing including plunging toilets, snaking toilets, and unclogging sinks
- participating in preventative maintenance programs
- handling public space janitorial work
- maintaining parking lot upkeep and trash cleanup
- performing PTAC cleaning, drywall repair, painting, and caulking
- maintaining and managing inventory of maintenance supplies and tools
- providing maintenance orders to management
- prepping rooms for housekeepers by removing linens, trash, moving furniture, and reviewing maintenance needs
- knowing and following property emergency procedures
- ensuring the security needs of the property and guests are met
- performing other duties as assigned
