Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • experience in a maintenance or similar role preferred
  • ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting up to 50 pounds, climbing stairs and ladders
  • knowledge of basic electrical and plumbing repair
  • strong attention to detail and ability to manage inventory
  • ability to work flexible hours
  • commitment to safety and emergency procedures
  • good communication skills

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • prior experience in hotel maintenance or property attendant role preferred
  • basic knowledge of electrical and plumbing repair
  • ability to perform janitorial duties
  • good communication skills
  • ability to follow instructions and safety procedures
  • physical ability to perform lifting and repetitive movement tasks
  • reliable and flexible team player

Job Duties

  • Managing work orders in a timely manner while adhering to a proper preventative maintenance schedule
  • shampooing carpets and cleaning hard surface floors
  • performing light electrical work such as changing an outlet or wall switch
  • performing light plumbing work including plunging toilets and unclogging sinks
  • conducting public space janitorial work and parking lot upkeep
  • maintaining and managing inventory of maintenance supplies and tools
  • prepping rooms for housekeeping including removing linens and trash
  • reviewing maintenance needs in guest rooms
  • following property emergency procedures
  • ensuring security needs of the property and guests are met
  • performing other duties as assigned
