Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior experience in maintenance or hospitality maintenance preferred
- Ability to lift, push, or pull up to 50 pounds
- Flexibility to climb stairs and ladders repeatedly
- Ability to perform physical tasks such as kneeling, squatting, standing, bending, and twisting for extended periods
- Knowledge of safety and emergency procedures
- Availability to work varied shifts as needed
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience in general maintenance or hospitality maintenance preferred
- Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting up to 50 pounds
- Knowledge of basic electrical and plumbing repairs
- Strong attention to detail
- Good communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Flexibility to handle multiple tasks and shifting priorities
- Understanding of safety and emergency procedures
Job Duties
- Managing work orders in a timely manner while adhering to a proper preventative maintenance schedule
- Shampooing carpets and cleaning hard surface floors
- Performing light electrical work such as changing outlets or wall switches
- Handling light plumbing tasks including plunging and snaking toilets, unclogging sinks
- Conducting preventative maintenance programs and public space janitorial work
- Maintaining and managing inventory of maintenance supplies and tools and providing orders to management
- Prepping rooms for housekeepers including removing linens, trash, moving furniture, reviewing maintenance needs
- Knowing and following property emergency procedures and ensuring the security needs of the property and guests are met
- Performing other duties as assigned
