- prior experience in maintenance or hospitality preferred
- ability to perform physical labor including lifting, bending, and climbing stairs
- reliable attendance and punctuality

- experience in hotel maintenance or related field preferred
- ability to perform physical tasks including lifting up to 50 lbs
- good communication and teamwork skills
- knowledge of basic electrical and plumbing repair
- ability to manage inventory and work independently

Job Duties
- Managing work orders in a timely manner while adhering to a proper preventative maintenance schedule
- shampooing carpets and cleaning hard surface floors
- performing light electrical work such as changing outlets or wall switches
- conducting light plumbing tasks including plunging and snaking toilets and unclogging sinks
- executing public space janitorial work and parking lot upkeep
- performing drywall repair, painting, and caulking
- maintaining and managing inventory of maintenance supplies and tools and providing orders to management
- prepping rooms for housekeepers including removing linens and trash, moving furniture, and reviewing maintenance needs
- knowing and following property emergency procedures and ensuring the security needs of the property and guests are met
- performing other duties as assigned
