Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • prior experience in maintenance or hospitality preferred
  • ability to perform physical labor including lifting, bending, and climbing stairs

Job Qualifications

  • experience in hotel maintenance or related field preferred
  • ability to perform physical tasks including lifting up to 50 lbs
  • good communication and teamwork skills
  • knowledge of basic electrical and plumbing repair
  • ability to manage inventory and work independently
  • flexibility to handle a variety of tasks
  • commitment to following safety protocols

Job Duties

  • Managing work orders in a timely manner while adhering to a proper preventative maintenance schedule
  • shampooing carpets and cleaning hard surface floors
  • performing light electrical work such as changing outlets or wall switches
  • conducting light plumbing tasks including plunging and snaking toilets and unclogging sinks
  • executing public space janitorial work and parking lot upkeep
  • performing drywall repair, painting, and caulking
  • maintaining and managing inventory of maintenance supplies and tools and providing orders to management
  • prepping rooms for housekeepers including removing linens and trash, moving furniture, and reviewing maintenance needs
  • knowing and following property emergency procedures and ensuring the security needs of the property and guests are met
  • performing other duties as assigned
