Job Requirements

  • ability to perform repetitive climbing of stairs and occasionally ladders
  • capacity to kneel, squat, sit, stand, bend and twist for extended periods
  • ability to lift, push, or pull up to 50lbs
  • flexible schedule and willingness to perform varied hotel duties
  • dependable and punctual work ethic
  • compliant with drug-free workplace policies

Job Qualifications

  • high school diploma or equivalent
  • prior experience in hotel maintenance or property attendant role preferred
  • basic knowledge of electrical and plumbing repairs
  • strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • excellent communication skills

Job Duties

  • manage work orders in a timely manner adhering to preventative maintenance schedule
  • perform general maintenance tasks such as carpet shampooing, cleaning floors, light electrical and plumbing repairs
  • maintain and manage inventory of maintenance supplies and tools
  • prepare rooms for housekeeping by removing linens, trash, and moving furniture
  • follow property emergency procedures and ensure security needs are met
  • perform public space janitorial work and parking lot upkeep
  • assist with other duties as assigned
