Job Requirements
- ability to perform repetitive climbing of stairs and occasionally ladders
- capacity to kneel, squat, sit, stand, bend and twist for extended periods
- ability to lift, push, or pull up to 50lbs
- flexible schedule and willingness to perform varied hotel duties
- dependable and punctual work ethic
- compliant with drug-free workplace policies
Job Qualifications
- high school diploma or equivalent
- prior experience in hotel maintenance or property attendant role preferred
- basic knowledge of electrical and plumbing repairs
- strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- ability to work independently and as part of a team
- excellent communication skills
Job Duties
- manage work orders in a timely manner adhering to preventative maintenance schedule
- perform general maintenance tasks such as carpet shampooing, cleaning floors, light electrical and plumbing repairs
- maintain and manage inventory of maintenance supplies and tools
- prepare rooms for housekeeping by removing linens, trash, and moving furniture
- follow property emergency procedures and ensure security needs are met
- perform public space janitorial work and parking lot upkeep
- assist with other duties as assigned
