Job Requirements
- Must have a high school diploma or equivalent
- prior experience in maintenance or housekeeping preferred
- ability to climb stairs and use ladders
- capable of performing physical tasks including kneeling, squatting, bending, twisting for long periods
- ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 pounds
- reliable and punctual
- ability to follow safety and emergency procedures
- willingness to work flexible hours
- commitment to a drug-free workplace
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- prior experience in property maintenance or hotel operations preferred
- ability to perform physical labor and lift up to 50 pounds
- basic knowledge of electrical and plumbing systems
- strong attention to detail
- good communication skills
- ability to work independently and as part of a team
- flexibility to handle multiple tasks and responsibilities
Job Duties
- Managing work orders in a timely manner while adhering to a proper preventative maintenance schedule
- shampooing carpets or cleaning hard surface floors
- performing light electrical work such as changing an outlet or wall switch
- performing light plumbing including plunging toilets, snaking toilets, unclogging sinks
- maintaining preventative maintenance programs
- performing public space janitorial work
- managing parking lot upkeep, trash cleanup, PTAC cleaning, drywall repair, painting, caulking
- maintaining and managing inventory of maintenance supplies and tools
- providing orders to management
- prepping rooms for housekeepers including removing linens, trash, moving furniture
- reviewing maintenance needs in rooms
- knowing and following property emergency procedures
- ensuring the security needs of the property and guests are met
- performing other duties as assigned
